Tough

Tough is exactly was looking for in a chocolate stud dog. He's good-looking, built like a lab should be, and loves to work. He is used extensively as a guide dog at a busy pheasant hunting lodge in South Dakota. I constantly get compliments on his looks, drive, and point. In addition, his retrieving desire is off the charts. Tough is currently in training to achieve AKC titles. Our goal is to get his Senior Hunter title and then move on to get his Master Hunter title.

He is the product of 2 highly titled black dogs. His sire is 4X GMPR GRHRCH(4) NCK's Rock Chalk Jayhawk Of TGK MH, and his dam is APR HRCH Lone Tree's Who Wrote The Book. His pedigree is STACKED with titled dogs.

Maze

TDKs Maze Back to Birdie

Maze is sired via frozen semen by FC AFC Hilltops Hayseed (Bubba). Bubba was a littermate to Birdie's dam (Black Gold's Markin Marti) and NAFC FC AFC Zinger. Maze also has a firm bottom side of pointing labs. She is bred SOLID.

TDK's Bad to the Bone (Tough) x TDK's Mona

For the first time in over 20 years of breeding pointing labs, I will be having an in-house all chocolate litter.

Good chocolates can be hard to find, and Tough and Mona are the real deal.  Mona has proven herself to produce outstanding pups that point.   This matchup with Tough may be the best one yet.

Sold Out!!!

Mona

1.5GMPR RLK’s Eye of the Tiger “Rock” x CPR TDK’s Blue Hunter Rose Lady Jasmine

Mona is a granddaughter to our own TDK’s Chaos. I’m very hard to please and good chocolate pointing labrador retrievers are hard to find. Mona has a very nice strong natural point, strong retrieve drive and lives for the water. (Don’t let her AKC name fool you. It’s a joke among friends.) She is a deep dark chocolate (often mistaken for black by the hunters I guide in the fall). Mona has a littermate that passed her CPR title at approximately 6 or 7 months of age. Mona’s dam TDK’s Jazzy has proven several pointing lab pups. Mona has proven herself to stay here as one of my top guide dogs.
